Hi all,
So the seal on the left side of engine behind the slave cylinder that the pushrod go's through to activate the clutch from slave cylinder. it was leaking oil and so I couldn't pass inspection.
Got the old seal out but have ruined 2 new ones trying to insert them.
Anybody have any ideas on this. I have 2 more coming but it's getting expensive. open to all ideas.
Thanks to all..
Jim L.

How did you get the old one out?  From what I remember, there's a lip that retains it and most people grind that off so that you can pull the old seal and slide the new one in without damaging it.  The official way to get to it is to pull the entire cover, which requires some significant engine disassembly.
