I'm back in nighthawk game after 15 years or so of one missing from my stable. Its still such a great machine. I was sad to see the old forum gone, but equally happy that this new one has been brought to life. Thanks for keeping a good thing going.

So ok let me calm down a moment as I'm excited.

I was a member of a Nighthawk forum before but it vanished. Am I right in thinking that this is the replacement for the old site?

Also was any posts retrievable?

I've made a new account, I'm guessing my old one is gone and this was the right thing to do?

If all my assumptions are correct then man, it's good to be back. Because guess what, I've bought my second non-runner CB700SC lol.

Need to delve right in and share my woes.

Yes, this is a replacement for the old site.  I have a backup of all content that was posted there, but I'm not permitted to just transfer things over.  I mostly kept it to be able to refer back to particular threads -- there was a lot of accumulated knowledge from its many years of operation.

Great that you have the backup, could come in handy with all that extra knowledge there when a scratch your head issue comes up.

That's exactly the reason why I spent weeks grabbing it all to folders and folders and folders of PDFs!
The original Nighthawk Forum was lost completely in a server crash many years ago.  I didn't want the second version to suffer a similar fate.

Hello all, first post, not sure if this is the proper introduction thread, but hello! Just picked up an all original 450 twin, zipped around the city on it for 40 minutes before work. Thanks for keeping the site alive.

We wandered in again. We were in the old Nighthawk forum years ago under this username, but weren't very active.

We bought our '93 CB750 Nighthawks new. Still have them.  slmjim's is Candy Tahatian Blue, slmjim sez his is more handsome.  The Lovely Z1BEBE's CB750 Nighthawk is Candy Metallic Red. Z1BEBE sez hers is prettier.  slmjim's BlueHawk currently has ~75,000 mi. showing.  Z1BEBE's RedHawk has clocked ~71,000 mi.

We collect & restore Kawasaki Z1's as a hobby. Currently have six runners. One of the reasons we bought our His n Her CB750's was because the Z1's were getting too valuable to be dumping the kind of miles on them we were back then.

We also have a ST1300A for when she doesn't want to ride.
