I'll start by paraphrasing Anna Karenina: "Working motorcycles are alike; every broken motorcycle is broken in its own way." This time it was really, quite unique.

Long story short, it took me almost 3 days of worry and work to realize why my motorcycle wouldn't run. All I had done was attach a dash camera and change the clutch master cylinder. Turns out when I stashed the excess wiring away in tidy little ziplock bags, I had stuffed the bags near the air intake, and they were blocking the airflow and choking the motorcycle.

But, my bike got an oil change and a compression test out of the ordeal. Thankfully I figured it out before I pulled the carbs.

I installed a new air filter in my 700S many years ago.  I thought it was the type that needed oiling.
It wasn't.
Even so, it ran fine up to about 7500rpm, or 65mph.  After that it would choke and bog down.
The thing is, I didn't put the two things together so I ended up riding it like that for a couple of years before I was able to diagnose it (much to the frustration of some forum members that I went riding with).
Like yours, my bike also got new plugs, wires, coils, etc.
