I noticed the clutch hub nut has two different cambers, with one face a greater angle than the other, but did not notice this when taking it off. Does any here know which side faces out?

Thank you.

from your other posts, we are talking about a 82 cb450sc Nighthawk.

I don't have that bike, but I would see if the service manual has clues.
If not I would look for videos showing the clutch being worked on (likely same as the Rebel 450).
Do an internet search for images of that clutch assembly.

Yes, thanks, couldn't find any clues in the service manual or Clymer, but did just find a post indicating the larger beveled face goes toward the engine. Learning every day.
