1984 700SC Handlebar Pinch Bolt

Hey all-
I wonder if anyone can help me identify the pinch bolt that hold the arms in place on the handlebars for the 700SC. It does not appear in the parts list of the shop manual I'm using (grid F6 on page 70 & 71). I'm referring to the bolt that pinches the bottom part of the handlebars around the top sections. Near as I can tell, it would be a 8x22 socket bolt. It's not the bolt labeled as #14 on the schematic, because I ordered one already and it's the wrong size. I'm curious if I'm missing some info or if anyone here knows where to find the part number. I'd be greatly appreciative.

The parts schematic says that item 14 is 7x38, 90151-MB0-000

Correct, @mollusc, which is why it won't work for that particular application. I didn't think to measure the original before I ordered it. Any idea if that specific bolt has a part number?

If it's not #14 then no, I don't know what it is.
Have you tried taking out the other one and measuring it?  Or take the handlebars to a local hardware shop or Fastenal to test the threads in the hole?
