1985 CB650 Nighthawk Speedometer Drive Unit

I *thought* I had a broken speedo cable, turns out it is the drive unit. I haven't got around to removing it, but I wonder, are they repairable? I doubt it, but if anyone else has done it, let me know.

Probably depends on how it's broken.  I know that I have seen it where the axle drive part breaks, and that's definitely not repairable.  If the hub part is broken, it might be easiest to replace the whole unit even though the Honda parts diagrams do show some internal pieces as separate.
