New to forum

Hello everybody I'm new to the forum but old to riding and I'm a mechanic by trade .I recently acquired in a trade a 85 650 nighthawk with only lil over2000 miles.the guy took engine out because oil leaking so I've rebuilt it completely with everything it needed and some stuff I just did because I could.im currently painting the tank as someone had done a bad job on it and since I paint custom hot rods no problem I chose purple sunrise flip color .anyway it seems this bike might be worth more than an average nighthawk considering everything on it is new and the stuff that's not looks new ,so can you guys help me value the bike ? I appreciate it and if I can figure it out I'll post pics asap.thanks .

A Nighthawk is usually worth about US$2000 if it's in excellent original condition and low miles.  The only real exception is the Red White Blue 1986 Nighthawk S, which I've seen go for $4500-5000.
They just aren't high value bikes, in part because there are/were so many of them.
