Psyched to be on the road before the seasons over (just about)

Bikes running great after the top end rebuild. First time riding but learning fast. Really incredible feeling.

Being careful, but I've opened the throttle a couple times and wow this thing pulls, you better hang on or it feels like you'll slide right off the back and it'll leave you behind.

That's great!  Still have a warm up next week, and can usually ride a few days till sometime near the end of Nov.

I'm typically still riding in January.  Supposed to be a mild winter this year so I may go right through.

I will definitely be stopping on Dec. 3rd, because I have knee-replacement surgery scheduled.

I opted for giving up possible Dec. riding for the increased likelihood of more springtime riding.

I have a 85 650. Had it for two years now.  You're right, it does pull hard and very progressively. This is my first bike since I sold my last bike in the 80's, I didn't realize how much I missed riding until now. Since we have the same bike, but different years, if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Question for you. Does the trac anti-dive feature work on yours?

Btw, if you do your own work, (or even if you don't) I highly recommend buying a copy of the factory shop manual. The Clymer manual is excellent also.
