UK Insurance Quotes say it's an VT700 Shadow?

I have good news 

So I have 2 nighthawks, one I bought and broke into bits and never rebuilt as I couldn't get a new cylinder head here in the UK, when I got one sods law a full NH came up on ebay so I bought that too.

Today I took it for an MOT and... It passed 

I have taxed it, it's mot'd and I went to do insurance for it but everywhere online the bike is coming back as a VT700 shadow? It's like here in the UK they don't know the CB700SC exists.

I am tempted to just insure it as a shadow just to get out there and have a go lol.

Has this happened to anyone else and is this common ?

I guess I should wait until morning and make some phone calls but I am really excited to get out on this and see what she's like.

You don't want to risk a claim being denied due to not being the bike insured.

I'm not sure that the 700S was released in the UK, so they may not have it on their registers.  Have you tried actually talking to an agent?

Yes it's difficult in the UK, no one seems to understand what the CB700 is, even import specialist's. I found 2 companies that would do it in the end. Cost me £157   and I'm pleased to say I had my first go on the Nighthawk ever today and I loved it.

I've done a YouTube video of the ride. Bikes making strange noises like high pitched whining from the engine somewhere, I had a small tank slapper, slipping clutch, Speedo needle and tacho needle both snapped, but it was a mint ride lol.
