Hello All. I picked up a second Nighthawk this summer, and the engine has gone out recently. I'm using it to zombify my 750 currently but have no intentions of rebuilding the engine.

Currently I'm planning to scrap or gift the bike away, although the registration is good well into next year. I have a feeling that there may be people here with advice on what to do in this situation, as It's a maroon red and honestly a great bike, other than the obvious.  Mechanic says the oil leak led to the engine seizing.
This isn't a listing for sale, more of a question of whether or not it would be worth dropping the bike in a driveway until I have the time and energy to attempt fixing the engine.
