Exhaust pipe question.... Do you have a 85 Nighthawk 650?

 I have a 1985 Honda 650cs (US-California-spec) Nighthawk. There is something odd however, with the RH exhaust pipe. Both stock pipes have a pie-pan shaped baffle at the end. The RH baffle however, has a round hole about the size of a dime in the middle, and I'm not sure that's supposed to be there. What about yours?
