'83 - '85 650cs Nighthawk

 How many here have one?

I have an '85, I'd like to start a conversation about these bikes.

I was the teenager who drooled all over the brochures back in the day. Joined the Navy and bought an 83 brand new.  2+yrs and 30k miles later traded for a V65 Sabre.

Was a great, fun, and quick bike. No problems except the sun turning it pink on the tail section.  Had it with me in PR. I'd ride to San Juan, pull the wheel in the parking lot and get a new tire.

Lots of time and several bikes later I picked up a 92 750 Nighthawk last Oct.
