Thanks! I think so, sounds a lot better I think, fuller/more regular instead of galloping if that makes sense. Im pretty sure I had major exhaust leak at the headers too because all the flanges were only finger tight. I think it revs faster/more throttle response now too whereas it was a little hesitant before. I still have an exhaust leak at one of my mufflers there's a dime sized hole punched through the side so it's a little hard to tell.

What is easy to hear is that the backfires are gone, no pops no puffs out the exhaust or out the carbs.

My compression tester is locked in the garage until this evening, so I don't know if my compression is up/down/same from the lapping. But it's running so do I even want to know...
