In my 40+ years of riding, 250k+ miles on 2 wheels...Countless times. To include birds, a buzzard, close call on a turkey, 1 deer, etc. from the top of my head.

Never.  A friend did get a wasp down his shirt when on a bicycle once; it stung him multiple times.
And I think someone on a prior version of this forum had a bird collision that left him with the tip of the beak impaled in his sternum.
I was riding pillion on a friend's 1980s Kawasaki early one morning when we had a collision with a VERY large tom turkey in the hills behind my childhood home.  To Simon's credit, he was able to grab it by the neck with his left hand and maintain control with his right, and eventually dropped it on the ground so we could stop.  By the time we had dismounted, the woman in the short business skirt and pearls who was in the car behind us had stopped and had her high heel on its neck as she wrung it.  "Great catch!" she said.
