New to the forum

Hi, I'm new to the forum. I have a '84 Nighthawk 700S which I've owned since 1991. I'm planning to do some work on it and thought it would be nice to have some friendly resources to consult. I've already enjoyed poking around the forum and look forward to more.

Nice bike! Do you ride it much or has it been in storage?  That is a long time... Looks like a time capsule.
Your flickr.com link didn't show up for me until I hit "reply" quote - then I could see the link but couldn't get it to work until I removed the img brackets.
Now I see it and will paste it here.

I had a hell of a time when I started posting images on this forum, finding an outside host (imgur) then figure out which flavor of link works (for imgur it is the one called BBcode)

Thanks for the help with the pic Bob. I appreciate your tips and will use the next time.

I stored the bike in 1994 while I rode some other bikes.  I had a '94 CBR600F2 then a '98 VFR800FI. I got the Nighthawk back out for its 20th birthday and did a bunch of work to it. I've been riding it ever since. I never use it for strictly transportation, only recreation ... so I don't log a lot of miles.

I didn't even realise there WAS an image in your post.  You need to use BBcode for posting Flickr images too.

I just tried to add this info to the thread "Posting Videos on This Forum" but I am not worthy.
Perhaps a moderator with permissions could add that data - I only figured it out by trial and error.

First, this isn't a video.
The thread on posting images already says to use BBcode.  So does the video posting guide.
