I was tearing down my bike for prepping and painting and found a broken exhaust mount stud. I'm hoping somebody has some advice on removing the old broken stud (the lower left one as pictured) as I've tried everything I can think of.  I started with Liquid Wrench, and Deep Creep to try to loosen it up, then I tried applying heat.

I've made a short youtube video detailing my difficulties and what I've tried to demonstrate the challenges.
Unfortunately, I don't know how to weld, so welding a bolt onto the stud is not an option for me either.

Any ideas on what to try next would be appreciated!

Thanks!

I think you can get that out. Just don't get in a hurry and break it off down in the hole. It helps to put one hand on it, close your eyes, and be one with the bolt. After that you will see a vision and you will get it out.

Seriously, take your time. I would spray it with PB Blaster, tap it with a hammer, and rock it back and forth with the vice grips as best you can. It might take a long time but it will be better than breaking it off down in the hole.

Make a 50/50 mix of acetone and ATF and use that as a penetrating lubricant.  And try using a pipe wrench.

In addition to the suggestions above, except of course "being one with the bolt", lol, you might try heating the surrounding area and freezing the bolt before grabbing it and turning it.
I apologize for taking advantage of the opportunity to bust Timberwolfe's chops. I wouldn't have even considered doing so if I didn't like him as much as I do. ;)

Sometimes one must seek enlightenment when faced with a tough problem like a stuck bolt. This can be achieved through meditation and being mindful. Strive for awareness of the totality of the phenomena instead of focusing on a single aspect.

I walked by this car the other day, and the solution came to me.

Wow, that's deep Master.

Timberwolfe's idea about rocking it back and forth works for me. Works for stuck sparkplugs also.
