We've talked about this before.

Came home from a ride and lubed my chain and found my clip gone!! Now my bike is down till I can get a rivet link.  Never doing a clip again.

Previous owner put on the chain.  We talked about it here, many of you are fine with clip type.

This is at least the 2nd time I can remember in all my bikes that I threw a clip.

Next the side plate will work itself off and wham! you throw a chain at 80 MPH! Can lock the wheel, put a hole in the crankcase, smack your leg, all 3 at once, on and on.

They suck!!!  Warning to all!!!

Weather is high 70s right now, when I finally get my rivet link highs will be in the 40s.

Masterlink came early!  Got her riveted on and can ride in the last day of almost 80F.

For the record. Masterlink must be identical to chain it goes on, and not just 520, 525, 530, etc.  Masterlink MUST say the exact same thing on the side plate as the rest of the chain.
In my case 525 PX
or as example 525 ZVM.
