Hmm clutch lever wires?

I'm confused fellas about the wires coming from the left hand switch. There are two wires coming from it that I think went to the old clutch master cylinder.

I've upgraded mine and the upgraded unit also has 2 wires coming from it.

I'm not sure what these wires from the on bike switch do or if I should be connecting these up.

Does anyone know the function of these wires and if they are necessary?

If you advise I should connect them, how will I determine which wire goes to which colour ?

Thanks 👍

They don't go to the cylinder, they go to the clutch lever.  They're an interlock so you can't try and start the bike when it's in gear without the lever pulled in.  There should be a microswitch on your lever somewhere.
