 To recap my last carb posts...

I needed to rebuild the carbs on my 85 Honda 650cs Nighthawk. I've had many ups and downs since then. I also installed a kit from CarbJetKit. Back in my teens, I rebuilt single cylinder bike Mikuni's, this job was much more involved.

Long story short, I soaked them in carb cleaner, put them back together, and upon installation I had two problems. The engine wouldn't start. I replaced some slow speed jets with other jets from the kit that were longer, that got the engine running. But, it only ran on 3 cylinders. Some spray carb cleaner took care of that, Now in runs great!

WOOHOO, congrats, almost back on the road again. I purchased a 750 NH a couple of months ago 1996 with only 3600 miles. I didn't get to ride it when I bought it, too much snow HA. Hopefully everything engine wise runs out OK. Once I figure out how to post pics, I will post some of my "new to me" NH.

 If your mechanical and patient, (and if your bike has carbs), and if you need to rebuid/clean those carbs, look on Youtube for video's. Even though it's a CB 550, the video's by n0fumar are informative.

Thanks Mollusc for the info regarding posting pics. I will look it over and try to decipher the process.
