82’ cb650sc pulse generator alternative

I have been trying to get my 82 cb650sc going and have not been able to find a new pulse generator or any alternative to the system need help

If you search a Honda parts supplier, you should be able to cross-reference the part number to see if they were used on any other bikes.  That might give you other things to search for, which could widen your catch.
I doubt that there are new ones available, so eBay is probably going to be your best option even if they were used on other bikes.

 How do you know it's bad? Measure ohms at the pulse generator, or preferably at the ignition module. If I'm right, it's just simply a coil, and although I don't know what the reading should be, it should not be open or shorted. Also measure both leads to ground, you should get no reading. It's possible you have a bad ignition module, and I would not be suprised if that was the problem.

If the resistance is infinite then it may be a broken lead wire, which should be repairable.

Can you measure any resistance at the PG connector, what are your readings?
