I have a 95 Nighthawk 750 coming from Texas next month that I will restore. My son's bike that he bought new. Then he rode from CA to FL. It's been sitting for more than 10 years, so I have my work cut out for me. I am not a nube to bikes, but I am sure I will need some help with this down the road.

Start at the gas tank, empty old fuel, check for rust. Next fuel petcock. It's a vacuum type, check for proper operation. then carbs out for clean and check all rubber items.

Then whole bike, tires, brake fluid etc.

I just got a 92.  Tires are from 2011 and 2013.  Supposed to be too old but they stick fine and no cracks.
