Yeah, I know. I lumped this stuff in the snake oil column my whole life.. Untill now.

I hesitated even posting this but traffic is low here anyway.

Read some posts on the ST1300 site and decided to buy a bottle.
Now on my 3rd tank with 2oz. added to the gas.  Power keeps going up! Also noticed bike will pull away from a stop with no throttle much better now. A sure sign of more compression.

Now keep in mind I bought this 92 750 Nighthawk with 20k miles on it.  3rd, 4th or more owner. Guy I bought it off of didn't ride it much and I suspect rode it slowly.

So, what's going on?  I suspect the rings were seized, partially seized in the grooves. Now getting cleaned of carbon and sealing better.

Or/and...Carbon getting cleaned off the valves.

Or/and...It's aiding the compression rings sealing to the cylinder walls.

All the above?

Plus the added benifits of lubing the tank, petcock, carb, valve guides etc. Im going to keep using it. Also might be all the fuel stabilizer I'll need over the winter.

Got 6oz. in the car right now, see how that goes.  14 Chevy Cruze turbo 110k miles. Lots different going on there.

I had a bottle of that MMO laying around and have used it on and off over the years in my NH. There was a time when I religiously used it, for at least the 3 or 4 tankful comparison to your recent test.

I never noticed any difference in my bike - but mine has a different history.

I do face East and mumble some incantations about "other drivers shall see me today" and that seems to be working.

Is there only one model of MMO, or is there one specifically for gas?

Just the one that I know of.  Has directions for both adding to gas and oil.

I've never used MMO, but I do add Seafoam regularly to my bikes and to the gas for my yard implements.  I've also added Seafoam to the crankcase of my truck before doing an oil change, which is probably somewhat akin to adding MMO.
I only see two possible downsides:  on a wet clutch bike, I don't know whether it might affect the clutch plate surfaces in some adverse way; and if there is a lot of carbon buildup inside the engine, some of them might break free and block an oil passageway.

I definitely won't add anything to the oil in anything. As long as the OCI are kept up.
