Yep I put on on there thinking it would be alright. I best pull the carbs and rectify that. Also in my carb rebuild kit it came with white float bowls which are about 4mm shorter than the standard orange ones, so I'm going to find the best 4 original ones and give them a clean and put them back, after I've cleaned the float valve hole to prevent it sticking.

Not going to be easy to remove them again but a lot easier than the standard airbox and at least the wheel doesn't need to come off. Still a day's work though.

I never had to remove the airbox to get the carbs out.  I understand that yours is already gone, but the most I had to do was drop the rear fender (one bolt) so that there was a bit more room to wrangle the carbs.  I honestly don't see why everyone complains about them.
