Does anyone know the torque spec for the clutch pressure plate bolts (5 of them)?  I can't seem to find it in my Climer manual or any of the post here.  I know they snap pretty easily (ask me how I know). I'm working on an 83 Nighthawk 650.

You could measure the bolt thickness and look up a universal figure. Might be a chart in the manual.

For the record on my 92 750 it's 108 in. lbs. It's not much.

The manual for the 700S doesn't list a torque spec for those bolts, only that they should be tightened evenly in a criss-cross pattern.  Would seem to indicate that it's not critical how tight they are, but not to overdo it.

Thanks for the input.  I think the 108 in/lbs sounds about right, so I'll go with that. I'll let you know if anything goes snap!
