Just got notice from the Ramapo MC that there WILL be a Ramapo 500 this year, after a multi-year hiatus.  No details yet, but I will post info when I get it.
For those who don't know the event, you show up at Congers, NY, early on a Saturday morning, knowing nothing other than your destination for the night (in case you wanted to book a cabin or other accommodation).  A well-planned, enjoyable GPS route is provided when you arrive, which runs to approximately 500 miles over both the Saturday and Sunday riding.  Sunday ends at a bar in Sloatsburg, NY.  Some years the route has gone west into PA, northeast into CT, or north up the Hudson Valley.
While not specifically a Nighthawk Forums event, this is one that several of the long-term Forum members have participated in over the years.  I plan to ride it again this year so long as it fits my schedule.

Great to hear this event is back.... as well as having a new NH forum!

Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend due to a conflicting ride, but I strongly recommend doing the 500 if possible.  I did several over the years and it was always a great time.
